South Londoner Coventry winger nominated for Championship Player of the Month

Coventry City’s Ephron Mason-Clark has been nominated for the Championship Player of the Month award for December.

The Lambeth-born winger hit the ground running under new boss Frank Lampard last month, scoring three goals and picking up three assists.

Mason-Clark produced a Man of the Match performance in the 2-1 win at Hull, scoring the equaliser and setting up Jack Rudoni for the winner after an impressive run and cross in the build-up.

The ex-Barnet winger joined the Sky Blues last January but was loaned back to Petebrouggh for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

He missed the final game of December after picking up a hamstring injury.

Mason-Clark is up against Portsmouth’s Callum Lang, QPR’s Jimmy Dunne and Burnley’s Josh Brownhill.
