London Pantomime Horse Race raises £8k for charity
A pantomime horse race has raised more than £8,000 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH).
Each year teams gallop through the streets of Greenwich in the London Pantomime Horse Race to raise money for the children’s hospital.
The 11th edition, held in December 2024, raised an impressive £8,180 for the cause.
On Wednesday, fundraisers Lucy Davies and Rosie Fern presented the check to Katie Richardson, senior community fundraiser at GOSH, at the Morden Arms pub in Brand Street, Greenwich.
Longstanding organiser of the races, Mark Biddiss, has announced the 12th edition of the popular madcap charity event will take place in December.
Aiming to raise more than £20,000 for charity, this years race will be ‘rockstar’ themed.
