West Brom boss expects fired-up Millwall side following ‘convincing’ Plymouth defeat

BY MITCHELL HALL

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has stated he expects an exciting game as his side visits the Den for their Championship clash tomorrow.

The Lions enter the match after a 5-1 humbling at the hands of Plymouth Argyle, who were dead last in the Championship going into the game.

The onus is on Alex Neil’s men to recover from that embarrassing result if they want to continue pushing towards the play-off challenge that had seemed to be forming before the defeat.

The Baggies are in a mixed pocket of form themselves despite being sixth in the table, picking up recent wins against Portsmouth and Sheffield Wednesday in between losses to Plymouth and Blackburn.

“We should look forward to the Millwall game,” Mowbray told West Brom’s YouTube. “I feel as if we can dominate just about every game in this division with the quality of the players we have got.

“It is just about finding the answers of putting the ball in the net and what type of goals we are going to score.

“Millwall will be smarting from getting beaten at Plymouth quite convincingly, so we know what is coming, we have to expect a team full of fire in their bellies, which we have to find as well.

“It will be some encounter, I am sure.”
