Rape and sexual assault charges levelled at South London PC
A police officer is due to appear in court after being charged with three sex offences.
PC Nick Whitcombe, attached to the South West Command Unit – which covers Wandsworth and Merton – was charged on Thursday, February 13 with one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
He is due to appear before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The incidents reportedly took place on April 9 last year while he was off-duty. The victims, two women, have been supported throughout.
PC Whitcombe was arrested on the same day and immediately suspended.
