Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre Festive Shopping

Saturday, December 2nd to 9th. The shopping centre will host a festive extravaganza in the run up to Christmas with four days of free events to occupy your little angels and elves over the Christmas period.

On Saturday, on the upper mall from noon to 5pm, the wintery fun commenced with an array of arts and crafts for Santa’s Little Helpers. With a Christmas cookie-decorating workshop and a balloon modeller for your little ones to get their fingers stuck into, the event promises to bring out your arty side.

Back by popular demand there will also be face painting and glitter tattoo artists Saturday, December 2 and
December 9 to allow all little angels to sprinkle Christmas cheer throughout the centre.

On Sunday, December 3, we will be bringing back the popular giant snow globe photo booth for you and your family to have a photo enjoying a white Christmas.

Photos will be printed and available to take home for free. A Snow Queen will be present to turn everything to ice and making the centre feel magical.

A Christmas Toboggan slide will be making its debut in the Elephant and Castle shopping centre on Saturday, December 9, followed by the annual appearance in the centre from Santa himself with Mrs Claus by his side with her Mince Pie Cart for the adults to have a little treat as well.

Centre manager Jim Haveron said: “We are delighted to welcome back some of our popular Christmas events to bring some of our old and new customers together over the festive period.

“We are excited to have an array of events which we hope everyone will enjoy coming along to.”
