Jonny Williams to join up with Charlton Athletic for Spanish training camp

Jonny Williams is set to link up with Charlton Athletic for their warm weather training camp in Spain – the newly-promoted Championship side jetting away tomorrow.

The Wales international is a free agent from July 1 and had joined the Addicks on a short-term deal last season in the January window, with the SE7 outfit effectively taking over the remainder of his contract at Palace.

And the South London Press understands that Williams has accepted an offer to be part of the Addicks’ travelling party.

A return to Charlton has not been ruled out but the 25-year-old is keeping his options open.
