Former Millwall keeper: I’ve been blessed in my football career
David Forde has announced his retirement – the former Millwall keeper describing himself as “truly blessed”.
The 39-year-old Republic of Ireland international played 338 matches for the Lions before leaving in 2017, signing a deal with Cambridge United.
“The time has come to lay down my gloves for the last time,” tweeted Forde.
“I have been truly blessed to receive the honour and privilege to wear the crests and colours of incredible teams.”
