Lee Bowyer is fed up hearing about Lewis Page’s injury setbacks – and says he only wants to know when the injury-hit Charlton left-back is fit.
The 23-year-old only made 11 appearances last season.
Page previously told the South London Press that his deal with the Addicks would only be extended until 2021 if he hit a set figure of matches by the end of the current campaign.
His last outing for the SE7 outfit came in October 2018.
Page has played 27 times since signing from West Ham United in January 2017.
Bowyer said: “I don’t know what is going on with Pagey. The physio rang me Sunday and told me that he is starting to run outside but there is something wrong.
“So I just said to him now: ‘Just tell me when Pagey is going to train -I don’t want to hear anymore that something is wrong, something is wrong’. I just want to hear when Pagey is training, because it is happening too many times. That’s the situation with Pagey.”
