Owner reunited with cat after pet detectives get to work
This is the reunion you get after you find your cat two weeks after she got lost.
Naja the moggy was found across a busy road by her owners in East Dulwich on January 18 at 4.30am – a fortnight to the hour after she was last seen.
She is likely to have wandered across Lordship Lane and been too terrified to come back.
So after a search team heard accounts of a similar cat, her owner Vicky Rose ventured across in the small hours armed with her favourite treats – and were rewarded with familiar meows.
Animal Search UK’s pet detective search team carried out an exhaustive search on January 17 and got a tip-off of a sighting. So Vicky tried when there was less traffic around and Naja appeared from some buildings nearby – underweight and a bit mucky but otherwise well.
