Southwark food market to raise money for Australian bush fire relief
A food market will feature cooking classes and a prize draw to raise money for people devastated by Australian bush fires this weekend.
Mercato Metropolitano’s fundraising will host best-selling author and chef Melissa Hemsley and Circuloop founder Ranald Schulz tomorrow and Sunday in Newington Causeway, Southwark.
There will also be a pop-up Australian-inspired food stall, Australian-themed cocktails by the Jim & Tonic distillery, plus an exclusive on-site prize draw featuring some outstanding prizes at The Grocery within Mercato Metropolitano.
Proceeds will go to the Australian Red Cross, St Vincent de Paul Society NSW and The Salvation Army’s bush fire Appeal.
