Millwall agree loan return for Forest keeper Luke Steele

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Luke Steele is heading back to Millwall – after a loan return was agreed with Nottingham Forest.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper had spent the first half of the campaign on loan with the Lions.

But Steele headed back to his parent club earlier this month when Frank Fielding returned from his quad injury.

Fielding’s season looks to be over after he tore a bicep muscle in training recently.

Millwall could have moved outside the window to either take a free agent or do an emergency loan if anything happened to first choice Bart Bialkowski.

But instead they have set up another spell in South London for Steele.
