South London Music Festival ‘Streatham Space Project’ from Opera to Grime

This spring, Streatham Space Project in Streatham Hill is where it’s at!

Their South London Music Festival runs from March 22-April 9. It will be the talk of the town #SouthoftheRiver

Opening with Brixton’s leading Pegasus Opera Company on March 22, followed by an award-winning Indie Jazz performance and Q&A with local MOBO nominee Julia Biel –March 26.

Then get groovin’ with feel-good Afrobeats from Soothsayers on March 28.

Why not make a day of it, and book onto a free daytime workshop with their youth band Youthsayers for those interested in learning more about the history of the music (family friendly, bring your own instruments if you have them!)

They’ll also be special guests; local folk rock duo Ferris & Sylvester on April 8 and gorgeous sounds from singer-song writer Joshua Kyeot on April 9.

For that inner-child within us all, join dancing duo Snakebox for their interactive, multi-arts performance – Play on March 29.

A spontaneous interactive, creation inspired by the audiences’ response and input!

If that’s not enough to be getting on with, you can catch their current FREE art exhibition by the incredibly talented South London artist, Cam Portland – The San People of London – on until April.
