Neighbourhood Centre reopening with new safety measures

A community hub is reopening, starting with its nursery.

Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre has new measures to ensure residents keep everyone safe when coming into contact with its services.

Shops and businesses in Oxo Tower Wharf and Gabriel’s Wharf are also to open with new signage on social distancing throughout the neighbourhood centre and across the Coin Street estate, new hygiene measures, limits on the number of visitors to the centre, separate entry and exit points, screens in reception, new room layouts, catering arrangements.

Children will be in bubbles – small, separated groups of approximately 8 to 12 children per bubble.  Each bubble will also have a qualified first aider present at all times, a first aid kit and PPE for all staff.

The hub will also have procedures in place to help support the emotional wellbeing of children during this resettling phase.
