Alexander Sorloth has achieved a childhood ambition to play in the Premier League after joining Crystal Palace in a £7million deal.

The 22-year-old Norway international has signed a contract until 2022.

Sorloth told eagles.cpfc.co.uk: “I’ve dreamed about playing in the Premier League since I was about six years old.

“It is amazing that it has finally come true.

“There is no language barrier here, that’s nice, also there is also a lot of foreigners in the club.

“I’ll try to get my debut as quickly as possible and show my skills on the training ground, hopefully the manager likes what he sees.”

Centre-forward Sorloth has scored 15 goals and got nine assists in 26 games for Danish side FC Midtjylland this season.
