Millwall v Middlesbrough team line-ups – Two changes for Lions
BY ALEX GRACE
Gary Rowett has made two changes to the Millwall side that won 1-0 against Charlton at The Valley on Friday evening.
Ben Thompson and Shaun Williams return to the starting line up with Ryan Leonard and Jayson Molumby dropping to the bench.
Thompson makes his first start since the 1-0 victory at Derby County on December 14. Shaun Williams starts for a second successive home game.
Rowett looks set to stick with the 5-3-2 formation that was employed last time out.
Tom Bradshaw is once again among the substitutes along with Billy Mitchell, who came on at right wing-back in the closing stages of the Charlton fixture.
Millwall’s top-scorer Matt Smith continues up front with Jed Wallace sitting just behind him.
Middlesbrough name two former Millwall players in their starting 11 – defender George Friend captains the visitors with George Saville in midfield.
Neil Warnock has also named former West Ham United striker Ashley Fletcher in the starting 11. He scored for Barnsley against Millwall in the 2016 League One play-off final.
