Wandsworth music school performs virtual concert for schools and orphans
A school for musicians of all ages and abilities will raise money for orphans and schools with an online concert.
World Heart Beat Music Academy’s Virtual Gala Concert, in partnership with charity Music for Liberia, will be live streamed via Facebook on Friday 31st Julyat 7pm featuring musicians from the US, UK, and Liberia.

The concert will raise money to support children in Liberia through education and creative arts provision, funding sponsorships, supporting rural schools and providing accommodation for ebola orphans.

More than one hundred young people (aged 5 – 25 years) from the award-winning charity have already come together to produce their own lockdown music video #worldheartbeatathome.
Students chose Stevie Wonder’s legendary and uplifting classic ‘Another Star’ for the #worldheartbeatathome performance, the first project of its kind for the academy.
How good it is to have music performed to the ones who need comfort in the difficult times of the coronavirus and covid-19 crisis going on globally. Let us hope and pray for the world to return to its normal so that we can all get together and give the warm hugs that we have all been longing for.
