Japan’s leading graffiti writers create Peckham mural as part of London Mural Festival

Some of Japan’s leading graffiti writers have created a mural as part of the inaugural London Mural Festival, taking place this month.

Walls at the Copeland Park and Bussey Building in Peckham were transformed over four days by Japanese graffiti art collective THA; artists SUIKO, imaone, and FATE.

The London Mural Festival (LMF) features more than 100 global artists heading to London to paint more than 40 large scale walls across the capital.

LMF kicked off on the September 1 and will run until early October.

To mark the occasion the first map has been released and is available for download at https://www.londonmuralfestival.com/map.
