Agbeko will be at Peckham Levels this December

If you want music to dance to, this band is the one to see.

Afrobeat-inspired rock-funk-psych group from Manchester, Agbeko, are stopping off at the Peckham Levels bar, in Rye Lane, Peckham, on December 1, as part of their 2023 UK tour.

Agbeko were born out of admiration for the enduring music of 1970s West Africa and have spent the past three years honing a singular, contemporary sound.

Drawing from Fela Kuti and Mulatu Astatke as well as Led Zeppelin and Woody Guthrie, Agbeko call out corruption and pull towards societal change with an onslaught of horns, irresistible grooves and powerful lyrics.

Agbeko live shows are something to behold, causing dance floors to erupt across the UK festival circuit.

Tickets for Agbeko at Peckham Levels this December can be bought on the venue’s website as well as ticket sites like Dice.
