Alzheimer’s Society invites fundraisers for Glow London night-time walk

Residents are being urged to light up the night and remember loved ones to raise money to fund dementia research.

Alzheimer’s Society is inviting fundraisers to take part in its Glow London night-time walk on Friday, March 11.

Whether it’s to remember a loved one or spend time with family and friends for a good cause, the charity is urging walkers of all ages and abilities to shine a light on dementia with a 5.5km stroll through Battersea Park, along the river and across iconic bridges.

Alzheimer’s Society’s services, including the Dementia Connect support line, have been used over six million times since the start of the pandemic but too many are still facing dementia alone.

Money raised from Glow London will help ensure that Alzheimer’s Society can reach those living in London who need it most.
