Book your Christmas Day swim at Brockwell Lido
Tickets for the much-anticipated, Christmas Day swim at Brockwell Lido are on sale.
Blow away the cobwebs on Christmas morning and start the day taking the icy plunge at the lido in Brockwell Park, Herne Hill.
The annual swim will take place between 9am and 10.30am and tickets for the swim cost £8 for members and non-members.
With the pool temperature expected to be between 3C and 5C, swimmers are advised to know their limits.
Fusion Lifestyle, who run the Lido said swimmers should do a warm up before getting in the water slowly, keep hands and feet covered and even wear a wetsuit.
Anthony Cawley, chief executive of Fusion Lifestyle, said: “The annual Christmas Day swim is a really popular community event, and we can’t wait to see the pool full of swimmers, braving the chill, again this year.”
