Charlton Athletic owner Sandgaard responds to claims QPR targeting manager Dean Holden
Charlton Athletic owner Thomas Sandgaard says he has received no contact from QPR seeking permission to talk to Dean Holden.
TalkSPORT reported yesterday that the R’s, who sacked head coach Neil Critchley at the weekend, were set to make contact with the Addicks.
Holden’s Charlton contract runs until the end of the season.
Sandgaard had told our paper recently that he wanted to secure the 43-year-old on extended terms.
Contacted by the South London Press yesterday to ask about the report that QPR were targeting his boss, the US-based Dane said: “I have not heard anything from them or his agent, about QPR or any other club.
“I am currently working with Dean and his agent to extend his contract.”
