Lee Bowyer is hoping that Arsenal would send Krystian Bielik back to Charlton if the Poland U21 international is loaned again.

Bielik has attracted heavy interest this summer after a highly-impressive season-long stay with the Addicks last season.

And there have been claims that he does not want another loan next season – meaning he is either included in the Gunners’ plans or sold.

The latter scenario would seem to rule him out of a Valley return as Charlton have the lowest budget in the Championship.

“I’ve heard something similar [about rumours Bielik is not keen on being loaned again] – but I don’t know,” Bowyer told the South London Press. “That is between him and the club.

“But if he does go on loan I’d like to think they would send him straight back here because it was very successful for him. He had a couple of loans before that and they were not so successful – but our one was.

“Now we are in the division above, which helps.

“We’ll see how things develop at their end.”
