Charlton boss Lee Bowyer: Deji Oshilaja withdrawn as a precaution during win over Brentford
BY LOUIS MENDEZ
Lee Bowyer revealed that Deji Oshilaja was withdrawn as a precautionary move against Brentford.
The former AFC Wimbledon man, who has been filling in at right-back since Chris Solly suffered concussion against Barnsley, made way midway through the first-half of the hard-fought win over the west Londoners.
“A bit of tightness,” explained the Addicks boss.
“On Wednesday (against Nottingham Forest) he was up and down like a train. His groin just tightened up. I couldn’t take the risk.
“We don’t have another right-back as Chris Solly is out with concussion. We had to just swap it and change things around.”
Mr bowyer,mr Jackson and the rest of the coaching staff and not forgetting the brilliant Steve gallen, you are all brilliant, the player’s play is all down to you lot and i for one dont worry about mr dochalet (spelt wrong i think)as long as you people are with us,many thanks you make an old man happy bless you all
Charltons 1st half performance was brilliant against Forest Wednesday except not going in 4-0 up, the 2nd half was all Forest.
Yesterdays game Charlton were terrible for 89 minutes the goal was taken well but how Charlton won I will never know, but i am enjoying watching football at the valley, must step it up and play a lot better against Reading Saturday.
In bowyer we trust in Jackson we watch him grow. In Cullen we thank the man above we have him. In the Belgium for all his rubbish just stay away. Thank God for the North sea. We should all look at Bury and Bolton and think he’s bad but that could so well as been us
