Choral singers release their new Christmas album ‘Christmas Carols with Libera’

A group of choral singers are looking to build on their 65million YouTube hits with a Christmas album.

The boys aged six-16 are members of Libera, which has already toured four countries building up their global fanbase.

Now they have released Christmas Carols with Libera, on Friday, November 15 through Invisible Hand Music, Libera sing a collection of 16 popular carols.

There is a bonus track – Walking in The Air, from the animated classic movie The Snowman – recreated in Libera-style.

Among the tracks are Once In Royal David’s City, Carol Of The Bells and In The Bleak Midwinter.

Libera have performed for popes and presidents and gained three Classical Brit nominations

The boys said: “We had great fun while making the album.”

This year’s album follows Ding Dong Merrily on High, with many tracks recorded during group retreat to a rehearsal space in an old school.

There will be a launch show on December 3 at 7.30pm at St John Smith Square, central London.

Libera have toured the USA, the UK, the Philippines, South Korea and Japan.

They have also featured on BBC’s Last Choir Standing, Songs Of Praise and Classic FM.
