Croydon primary school rated ‘Good’ in recent Ofsted report
Ofsted inspectors have praised an academy’s ambitious curriculum, high aspirations and safety.
Students, parents and staff at Oasis Academy Ryelands in Oakley Road, South Norwood, have said they are overjoyed after the school was rated ‘Good’ overall.
The school regulator judged categories including the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, outcomes for pupils, effectiveness of leadership and management, and personal development, behaviour and welfare.
In the positive report, inspectors praised the curriculum, pupil behaviour and their outlook on school, as well as the calm and safe school environment.
Executive Principal, Glenn Lillo says: “The whole of the Oasis Academy Ryelands community are delighted that we continue to be a ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding” features academy.”
