Crystal Palace ‘complete deal’ for Reading midfield star Michael Olise

Crystal Palace are reportedly set to sign Reading midfielder Michael Olise – landing another of the top talents from the Championship.

The Eagles acquired Eberechi Eze from QPR last summer and he slotted impressively into top-flight football.

And @thesecretscout on Twitter has claimed that Palace have completed an £8million deal for Olise and that he has signed a five-year contract.

The former French U18 international, 19, has scored seven goals in 67 appearances for the Royals. He was previously in Chelsea’s academy before joining the Berkshire club in July 2015.

Patrick Vieira was appointed as Palace’s new manager over the weekend.

The Eagles have freed up space in their squad with a host of first-teamers now out of contract.
