Crystal Palace ‘join the race’ for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah

Crystal Palace have reportedly joined the race to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

Lewisham-born Nketiah made 17 appearances and scored two goals for the Gunners during the 2020-21 campaign.

The 22-year-old has 12 month’s remaining on his contract.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Bayer Leverkusen, Watford, West Ham and Palace are all interested in signing the former Leeds United loanee.

Nketiah has represented England at U18, U19, U20 level. In 2018, the South London-born striker was called up to the U21 side where he has gone on to score 16 goals in 17 games.
