Four men sought after knifepoint robbery of bus passenger

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Streatham Hill.

At around 5.25pm on Sunday, December 12 last year, the victim – who had been travelling with a friend on a Route 159 bus – got off at the stop close to Barcombe Avenue.

They were followed off the bus by a group of four males.

One of the suspects pushed the 29-year-old victim before he was robbed at knifepoint. The suspects stole his jacket, phone and AirPods; they ran off along Barcombe Avenue.

The victim was not injured.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command have today released images of four males they want to identify and speak with in connection with the robbery.

Anyone who recognises the males in the CCTV images, or who has any information regarding the robbery is urged to contact police via 101 or @MetCC quoting reference CAD 5010/12Dec21.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
