Fulham striker linked with loan move to Turkish giants
Aleksandar Mitrovic is being linked with a loan move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The Fulham striker, 26, scored three goals in 27 Premier League matches.
Turkish press claim that Fener are interested in taking Mitrovic, who is contracted with the west London club until the summer of 2024.
It looks set to be a summer of upheaval for Fulham as they bed back down in the Championship.
Manager Scott Parker has previously played down talk that the Serbian targetman would be moving on.
“He’s under contract,” said Parker. “I’m not sure how long he has got, but he’s got a considerable amount of time on his contract. I don’t see why that won’t be the case [that he will be at Fulham next season].”
Rumours that Parker is a target for AFC Bournemouth have refused to go away.
The former Charlton midfielder is thought to have a strained relationship with Fulham’s director of football Tony Khan.
One player who has nailed his colours to Fulham’s mast is Tim Ream.
The American centre-back, 33, said: “I’m happy to stay at Fulham and play my part. I’ve had conversations with Scott and the backroom staff, they want me there and I want to be there.
“I still have that drive to stay in England.”
