Greenwich brings their free for residents festival Together 23 to Charlton Park this summer

Greenwich council will bring their festival, Together 23, to Charlton Park this summer.

The festival will be free for residents and their families on Saturday, June 10.

The council have promised live music and performances, arts and crafts, community stalls, marketplace and street food.

Councillor Adel Khaireh, cabinet member for equality, culture and communities, said: “The borough of Greenwich is on the lookout for performers to get involved.

“Every year, our summer event brings local communities together and showcases the borough’s diverse range of arts and culture, voluntary organisations and local businesses.

“The rising cost of living is putting pressure on all of us, so providing free family events for local people from all backgrounds to enjoy is more important than ever.”

Last year 18,000 people spent the day at Together 22. This summer the free festival will run from noon to 6pm.

Organisers are looking for local performers, activity providers and traders to entertain the crowds.
