Harry Arter happy to be back at Charlton Athletic – season-long loan deal from Forest
Harry Arter has expressed his delight at being back at Charlton Athletic, after the League One club confirmed the midfielder’s season-long loan move from Nottingham Forest.
The Republic of Ireland international, who starred for AFC Bournemouth as they rose up the football pyramid, came through the youth ranks in SE7.
Arter is the club’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window.
He said: “It’s great for me to come back to the club where it all started as a young boy and see some of the faces, such as [academy manager] Steve Avory, who have played such a big part in my football development. It will be great to come back and hopefully help the club progress and do well.”
Charlton owner Thomas Sandgaard added: “I’m delighted we’ve been able to bring in Harry. He’s an Ireland international who has played in the Premier League and Championship for many years. I’m looking forward to seeing him in a Charlton shirt.”
Arter has also spells with Fulham and Cardiff City.
