A wild adventure awaits at Battersea Arts Centre this half term

Get ready for a roaring good time with an interactive music concert this February half term.

The Chromatica Orchestra is inviting families to experience The Carnival of the Animals, at Battersea Arts Centre in Lavender Hill, on February, 19.

Presented by conductor Tess Jackson and host Jessie Maryon Davies, this one-hour concert sees Camille Saint-Saëns’s beloved show brought to life with the help of young musicians from The Music in Secondary Schools Trust.

Audiences will be transported into an animal kingdom where violins become pecking hens, tortoises take on the can-can, and elephants attempt waltzes.

Doors will open early for children to craft their favourite animals at mask-making sessions before the concert, giving little ones a chance to immerse themselves in the animal-themed adventure before the performance begins.

This is the perfect opportunity for families to experience a live orchestra in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
