Book reviews with Pauline Atkins: The No-Hopers Christmas Club by Geraldine Ryan

Hello South London Book Lovers.

As Christmas is approaching, I am now starting to review a few Christmas-themed books, so don’t forget to let me know if you have any to suggest or if you have just published one and would like it reviewed.

In the meantime, I would love to introduce another book by my new favourite Author, Geraldine Ryan.

Her latest book The No-Hopers Christmas Club, published by Wrate’s Publishing, is available for £8.99 through Amazon in paperback. Cover illustration and design by Rachel Middleton.

As I said in my last review of Geraldine Ryan’s book, Riding Pillion with George Clooney, I fell in love with Geraldine’s writing style.

This new book contains 18 short stories, all Christmas-themed.

What I love about Geraldine’s stories, is they all start with a very believable tale, from lonely, abandoned dogs to abused women taking a stand and finally saying “no more”, then having the guts to walk away and start afresh.

Each one is different and each book can be read in a day or two.

I will be asking for more of her books this Christmas, because reading Geraldine’s books is like coming home, being greeted at the door with a warm blanket, a hot cup of coco and your favourite chair all plumped up and ready for you to curl up into.

Splash out and get the two books.

If you are very careful, you can repurpose the books as the perfect Christmas gift for that special someone who loves a good cry and a laugh all from the one book.

And, as each book costs less than a coffee, from some very well known coffee shops, you know you will be getting a bargain that they will love.

As each book is available from Amazon please don’t forget to leave a review of your own as this helps all self-published/published authors, the more ratings and reviews a book has, the more relevant companies like Amazon see it.

And, when a book is relevant, Amazon will suggest it to more people.
