Caity Baser brings her headline show to Hammersmith Apollo

Within a year Caity Baser has gone from playing her first show to 150 people, to huge sold out shows and massive festival main stages.

Now the rising star will take the iconic Hammersmith Apollo for her second tour, writes Claudia Lee.

Ms Baser is a singer songwriter with a larger-than-life personality which has helped her forge a legion of fans across her social media platforms in a short space of time.

In only a year she has racked up 134,000 Instagram followers.

Still only 21, Ms Baser has returned home from her debut tour of Australia and New Zealand to announce a new tour and mixtape – Still Learning.

As part of this new adventure, Ms Baser will be bringing her headline show to Hammersmith Apollo, in Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, on April 19, 2024.

Beginning in March 2024, in Leeds, the tour will conclude with a homecoming show in Southampton where Caity grew up.

Combined, the tour will see Caity perform to more than 40,000 people, such is the draw of her unique live performances.

Ms Baser said: “Being on stage is my absolute favourite place to be, ever. “My shows have been crazy. Within a year I’ve gone from playing my first show to 150 people, to huge sold out shows, massive festival main stages, everyone shouting back all the lyrics to me, which is still crazy to think about. But it’s only made me want to go bigger and better for this tour.

“So expect a totally new show with some surprises and also the usual chaos, of course.”

Ms Baser has capped ticket prices for her new tour to help her fans during the cost-of-living crisis.

She said: “As I hope people know by now, I like to make everything I do as accessible as possible to everyone, and I wouldn’t want someone to not come to one of my shows because of money – especially with everything that’s going on in the world at the moment.

Without all of my fans, none of this would be happening.

You got me here, so you should be there at my shows!”
