Comedian Paul Foot kicks-off his UK tour Dissolve with dates from September
Comedian Paul Foot is back on tour with Dissolve, a new show which he promises to be his most personal and surprising stand-up offering ever.
Dissolve will kick off at Arts Depot in Finchley on September 28, 2023, with dates across the UK before heading to Leicester Square Theatre on November 24.
In his new show, Paul will be breaking new ground as a comedian and as a person.
On March 20, 2022, something changed for Paul, and in this show he will reveal how he discovered the secret of life on the outskirts of Lancaster.
Paul said: “Twenty nine years of mental health crises, childhood trauma and life-altering depression dissolved away in an instant.
“It is also, incidentally, really funny throughout. I am a comedian after all.”
Inevitably he does get distracted by King Tutankhamun, the House of Lords, Sir Cliff Richard, officious lollipop ladies and what Jesus might have achieved if he’d been a plumber.
Paul said: “I’ve rewritten this quote 46 times now.
“In all my years of showbusiness I’ve never written a quote like this before.
“This is the most personal show I’ve ever created and the first time I’ve spoken about these things on stage.”
