Cross the Tracks Festival 2022 to be held in Brockwell Park

A one-day music festival held in Brockwell park has announced the line-up for next summer’s event.

Headlining Cross the Tracks on June 5, 2022, is Texan Thai-funk trio Khruangbin.

The festival will follow the band’s European tour of their third album Mordechai, which is a blend of classic soul, dub, rock and psychedelia.

They will be joined by Patrice Rushen who brought a new sense of sophistication to disco in the eighties.

Her iconic single “Forget Me Nots” received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and all these years later the pianist and singer still lights up the stage.

Lambeth’s own singer-songwriter Joy Crookes will perform her deeply personal songs that explore relationships, her own diverse culture and South London roots.

American rapper and soul star Mereba also lines up next to the iconic gravelly tones of Macy Gray whose “I Try” remains a stone-cold classic.

The festival will also host a range of London’s street food traders and craft beer brewers.
