Pride kicks off in Greenwich with brand new drag competition
Dust off your sequins and get ready to showcase your best performance.
A brand new drag competition is shaking up Greenwich pride in search of London’s most dazzling performer.
Hosted by local drag legend, Miss Aisles, from June 11, and running every Tuesday throughout pride season and beyond, Have You Got The Balls? will be a weekly showdown where two drag artists will battle it out on stage.Â
Be it comedy, song, dance, or sheer audacity, each contestant has ten minutes to prove their skills to the judges.Â
Taking place at Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub in Crooms Hill, Greenwich, the competition culminates in a glittering finale at Greenwich Pride on August, 17, where one performer will be crowned the ultimate champion, winning a guaranteed monthly paid showcase at the venue.
Miss Aisles said: “This competition is for Queens, Kings, and everything in between – we want you! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a dazzling newbie, show us what you’ve got.Â
“Get ready for a summer brimming with fierce competition, jaw-dropping drag, and the crowning of London’s next glittering icon!”
