Sir Grayson Perry comes to Wimbledon for brand whistle stop new tour
Sir Grayson Perry, the internationally acclaimed artist, writer and TV star, will head to Wimbledon in 2025 as he embarks on a brand new national tour.
Grayson Perry: Are You Good? will kick off in October 2025, seeing Sir Perry travel the country, exploring whether we are as virtuous as we think.
This brand new show will ask the question that is fundamental to our humanity – “Are you Good?”.
The set will see audiences tested by Sir Perry as he helps to find out who is really good, or maybe quite evil, but in a fun way.
Always starting out with the assumption that people are born good and then life happens, Sir Perry wants to pull back the curtain and see where our morals truly lie.
Are audiences as virtuous as they think? With lots of audience participation and a few silly songs thrown into the mix, Are You Good ? promises an evening of entertainment.
Sir Perry said: “Looking forward to going back on the road next Autumn. I think the theme of my show is very relevant in a time when it can be confusing as to who are the goodies and who are the baddies.”
Opening at the Grand Opera House in York on October 7, Sir Perry will then set off on a further 20 dates including a stop at New Wimbledon Theatre on November 23, 2025.
The whistle stop tour will conclude at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, at the heart of London’s glittering West End on December 7, 2025.
Sir Perry is one of the best-known contemporary British artists. He won the prestigious Turner Prize in 2003, and has been a member of the Royal Academy of Arts since 2012.
