‘What Else is New?’: South London comedian makes Wandsworth Fringe debut

South London born-and-bred comedian is set to make his Wandsworth Fringe debut this year with a charming work-in-progress, What Else is New?

A new job, new experiences and learning to swim: these are a few of the challenges that the intrepid comedian Fitzgerald Honger has faced.

On June 13, Mr Honger will take to the stage of The Bedford in Bedford Hill, Balham, to discuss his struggles with growing up, and looking after house plants, in his debut performance at Wandsworth Arts Fringe.

A rising star, Mr Honger’s style is observational and dead-pan, drawing on his personal relationships, work and taboo subjects to entertain his audiences.

A regular on the London comedy circuit, Mr Honger has performed in top comedy clubs across London and the UK including The Bill Murray and The Stand, Newcastle.

He also produces Elefunny Comedy to platform comedians from marginalised backgrounds, in partnership with Blue Elephant Theatre in Bethwin Road, Walworth.

‘What Else is New?’ is Mr Honger’s first solo show. Wandsworth Arts Fringe audiences can catch this work-in-progress show before it premieres at Edinburgh Fringe next summer.
