Imagine a world where beer and chocolate were good for you

Imagine a world where beer and chocolate were good for you. That’s probably a bit of a pipe dream but some brands are better for you and the planet than others.

South London-brewed Yabba Beer has 30 per cent fewer calories than the average comparable product.

The brain child of university friends, Matt and Jonny, they discovered low-calorie beers on their travels to Australia.

Yabba Beer is brewed for longer and intended to be a session lager with a low 4 per cent ABV and lower on calories.

Named after that infamous Aussie cricketing heckle, the Yabba boys are keen to reduce their impact on the planet, planting trees and offsetting carbon use.

Plastic-free packaging is used and waste water and hops from the brewing process. Crisp, refreshing and most certainly thirst quenching, it’s a barbecue sipper for sure.
