Mambow Restaurant – putting the heat on Malaysian cuisine

Opening in Peckham on 1st June, Mambow is bringing Malaysian heat to Southeast London!

Michelin-trained chef & founder Abby Lee will shine a light on this beautiful and complex cuisine with her flavour-first cooking using locally sourced, seasonal and sustainable produce.

Mambow will be launching alongside a collection of small, independent shops to make up the line-up for Market Stalls, which will be on the ground floor of Market, already home to seven floors of co-working space, a rooftop bar, a ramen restaurant and a basement music venue.

Highlights from the Mambow Restaurant menu include:
The M Wing, an addictively brined, and deep-fried chicken wing tossed in an anchovy sambal and served with lime; Black Pepper Chicken Curry; Assam Pedas, a typical Malay sour fish curry with okra, aubergine, sour tamarind and a fiery spice mix of chilli, belacan, lemongrass and galangal.

The food will be paired with a natural wine list put together by noted importer Les Caves de Pyrene.

Mambow opens for lunch and dinner, Monday to Sunday.
