London’s Finest

By Sarah Tetteh

This week Showbiz shines the spotlight on a Deptford lad, who used to ride the number 47 bus and is now a top social media influencer, model and TV fave.

Meet Stefan-Pierre Tomlin, whose Valentine’s fragrance Pierre 47 is just out in Selfridges.

Speaking to the South London Press he said: “Born at Greenwich Hospital on July 4, 1990 – Independence Day – I spent half my life in our family home on Evelyn St in Deptford, raised by a single mom.

“An air cadet turned RAF voluntary squadron member, I fulfilled my dreams of flying, fueled by my immense passion for aviation. Working a Christmas temp job at Hamleys, I even sold an RC helicopter to Prince Harry and received an invitation to the Queen’s jubilee garden party at Tower Bridge.

“While walking down Regent St, I was scouted by Abercrombie & Fitch, briefly working shirtless at their door. This led to opportunities with major agencies and later, appearances on various reality TV shows like MTV’s Pants Off Dance Off, First Dates, BGT, Dinner Date, Celebrity Ex in the Beach, and Written in the Stars.

“In 2017, I became “Mr. Tinder” after being recognized as the most swiped man on the app.

“Since then, my journey has included meetings with idols like Richard Branson and appearances on shows like This Morning with Alison Hammond, Dermot, Ruth, and Eamonn, along with radio interviews with Roman Kemp, Scott Mills, and Russell Brand.

“Currently, I’m collaborating on a track with DJ Ironik, Duncan from Blue, and other notable figures. Having walked fashion runways in New York, Milan, and London for renowned designers like Julian McDonald, Gucci, Armani, DSquared, and Burberry, I also became the face of Hennessy worldwide and worked with Ridley Scott in Prague.

“In the digital realm, I’ve had interactions with Margot Robbie on Instagram before they were deleted, and even engaged in online banter with Mya Jama.

“Now, I’m gearing up to launch my fragrance line, Pierre 47, exclusively at Selfridges, featuring scents like Love, Zest, Lust, and Swipe Right, each infused with pheromones tailored to attract different personalities.

“Why Pierre 47? Pierre is my first name, and 47 holds personal significance, representing the bus route I used to take from Deptford to Lewisham for school, and coincidentally, the day and month of my birthday.

“Life, as they say, is now complete, marked by six instances of going worldwide viral and media coverage from American Fox News to the Australian press.

“Family friends with big Nastie and I’m currently the face of Selfridges technology department smart tech and British motorcycle brand Triumph.”
