Megan McKenna celebrates National Coeliac Awareness Month in style

By Sarah Tetteh

Country singer Megan McKenna has been doing a bloomin’ marvelous job flying the flag for National Coeliac Awareness month – while positively glowing herself.

The gorgeous star, who is expecting her first child with footballer  Oliver Burke, made sure she fed her bump well as she joined a glam companion to sample the ENTIRE menu at Vietnamese restaurant chain Pho, –  which is mainly gluten free.

The Celebrity Masterchef star, who has coeliac disease, is widely known for creating food content and recipes on social media, and has also released her own gluten-free cookbook. She has long been raising awareness around this.

Pho, which has more than 40 sites in the UK, has been accredited by the Coeliac UK society for more than nine years and is the ultimate spot for the ever trending ‘gluten-free girlies’ that Megan mentions.

Their survey recently found out over half (55 per cent) of Brits who believe they have a food intolerance agree that there aren’t enough accessible or varied options when it comes to eating out, and 7 in 10 (70 per cent) Brits aged 16-24 get food intolerance symptoms.

Megan, who won Celebrity X Factor, certainly had plenty of food for thought after her feast fit for a queen.
