Make diabetes the centre for any new health plan
Diabetes is a hidden condition, but the people living with diabetes should never be put to the back of the queue because of that.
One in 14 of us live with diabetes and even more care for a loved one who does.
That’s why, in Diabetes Week, June 13-19, we’re calling on decision makers across the UK to do more to support people living with and affected by diabetes.
Let’s stand together and tell them to listen.
We’re calling for a commitment that diabetes is put at the heart of national and local health plans so people living with, and at risk of, diabetes get the care they need.
Visit www.diabetes.org.uk to sign up to receive the latest updates from our campaign, Diabetes Is Serious, and find out more ways you can get involved.

Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.
Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:
“A FREE COUNTRY NEEDS A FREE PRESS, AND THE NEWSPAPERS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE UNDER SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL PRESSURE”
If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online. Or please make cheques payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ
