Battersea Arts Centre opens an immersive light trail this December

Be guided through the seasons by woodland characters in this new immersive production.

Battersea Arts Centre, in Lavender Hill, Battersea, will open an immersive light trail this December.

Visitors will move by moonlight through a winter wonderland where animals are hibernating and people are tucked away in their cosy homes.

Through the maze of Battersea Arts Centre’s corridors and hidden spaces, magical woodland characters appear at every turn, guiding children and adults through the new beginnings of spring, summer and autumn.

The production has been created with Wild Rumpus – an award-winning, immersive events company.

Wild Rumpus creates experiential work at festivals, mixing theatre, art and the outdoors.

Tarek Iskander, artistic director of Battersea Arts Centre, said: “Seeing our beautiful spaces being transformed into a winter wonderland and knowing how much care and attention Wild Rumpus put into their light trails, we can’t wait to welcome families to Battersea Arts Centre this festive period.”
