Evita at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre
See Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s epic musical Evita live on stage at Regent’s Park. From a life of poverty to spiritual leader of the nation, Eva Peron, the wife of powerful President Juan Peron, was loved and hated, dividing the Argentinian people. Her patriotic speeches, ambition, glamour and magnetism established ‘Evita’ – played by Madonna in the 1996 musical film – as the world’s first major political celebrity.

Kevork Mourad Seeing Through Babel at, South Kensington
In the Old Testament story of Babel, mankind is punished for attempting to construct a tower to heaven, an act of hubris that led God to create multiple languages to prevent such collusions happening again.

The exhibition features a six-metre hanging sculpture created using Mourad’s trademark techniques – monotypes and drawing onto the surface of the work.

The Drag Ball
The Drag Ball returns to the legendary Clapham Grand for its third year on Friday, August16. Join your favourite stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race at The Drag Ball, the official evening event of DragWorld Europe’s Largest Drag Convention. Featuring Phi Phi O’Hara, Shea Couleé, Jinkx Monsoon, Biblegirl and more.

General admission £30, or £65 for a VIP meet and mingle ticket where you can meet the artists. For ages 14+ (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the balcony).

A Night Of Psychedelic Comedy With Shane Mauss & Adam Strauss
Shane Mauss and Adam Strauss are bringing a fantastic night of Psychedelic Comedy to Greenwich Theatre this summer, opening Europe’s biggest conference on psychedelic science, Breaking Convention.

The duo has appeared on some of the best known podcasts such as the Joe Rogan Experience, Marc Marons WTF and Duncan Trussells Family Hour, but this is the first time the comedians have performed their stand up sets in the UK.

A group exhibition selected by Michael Bracewell that surveys identity and image in British art, culture and society between 1976 and 1995.

The exhibition originates from a discussion about the cultural status and art historical positioning of one of Peter Saville’s best-known works for Factory Records

Clara is inspired to express herself through colour and line and often sketches people and places as she walks. Born in Paris and brought up locally in Hammersmith, she graduated Fine Art at Kensington and Chelsea College.

Her bold and angular paintings express a certain mood and character through the use of shapes, lines and contrasting colours.

Ever wondered what kind of art dogs like? Now you can find out at a dog curated exhibition. Fifteen cultured pooches who live with a variety of artists and curators have been invited to select their top dog-related artworks.

With a little help from their human companions, these canine curators have selected artworks in what is believed to be the first exhibition of its kind.
