Free shows at Bexley’s libraries this Christmas

There should be something to keep all your little ones happy during the holidays as the Freshwater Theatre Company is putting on some free shows at Bexley libraries.

There will be three performances of the Rainbow Fish show – one each at Erith, Sidcup and Thamesmead Libraries. This interactive story session is suitable for children aged between four and seven years old.

Locations and dates are as follows:
Sidcup Library, Friday, December 22 at 11am
Erith Library, Friday, December  22 at 2.30pm
Thamesmead Library, Thursday December 21 at 2.30pm

The children will use their imaginations to conjure up the sights, smells and sounds of the seaside and then dive under the water to explore life under the waves. They will create a soundscape, become the animals that live there and create the coral reef they inhabit before bringing to life the magical tale of the Rainbow Fish.

There will also be four performances of the Dinosaurs Early Years Story Hunt, one each at Central, Crayford, Erith and Welling libraries. This is an interactive workshop where the children will pick up clues from different locations like a seaside, hillside and cave and use these to create a dinosaur story together. This show is suitable for children aged between three and five years old.

The locations and dates are:
Central Library, Bexleyheath,  Thursday, December 28 at 11am
Crayford Library, Thursday, December 28 at 2.30pm
Welling Library, Friday, December 29 at 11am
Erith Library, Friday, December 29 at 2.30pm
