Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is back again
From November 21 until January 5, 2020, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns with a mesmerising line-up of ice-themed attractions.
This year, the wonderland will host a brand-new theme – A Christmas Carol, which brings Charles Dickens’ timeless classic to life.
Journey through the crafted snow and ice sculptures to relive the magical story of Dickens’ timeless classic in the UK’s largest ice experience with 500 tonnes of snow and ice to transport visitors to the wintery world of Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge.
Visitors can enjoy a range of different activities from ice sculpting workshops, to skating on the UK’s largest open-air ice rink to chilling at the alpine-inspired Bar Ice.
Visitors can glide across the ice in a leafy setting as the bandstand singer provides a gentle musical backdrop Penguin skating aids are available to support the little ones and, for the less experienced, ice guides can be hired.
Bar Ice is a après ski bar, surrounded by funky, pop-art sculptures, where the bar, tables, chairs and even the glasses are made of ice.
A complimentary cocktail is provided with each ticket and a thermal cloak to keep out the -10C cold, it the perfect spot to chill with friends.
A huge hit last year, 2019 welcomes back the exciting ice sculpting workshops where visitors can create a masterpiece in the bespoke sculpting studio, with expert guidance from the UK’s finest ice artists and the creators of the Magical Ice Kingdom.
Santa Land celebrates all things Santa. With rides, games, food and sweet stalls, it’s also home to Santa’s Grotto, and the 45m Ice Slide.
Entry to Santa Land is free for all and its return is sure to light up the kids’’ faces.
