Jazz Cafe announces its new season line up for 2023
One of London’s hottest jazz and soul venues has announced a huge line-up for its new season.
For more than three decades, the Jazz Cafe has brought some of the most respected names in the jazz and soul world – D’Angelo, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Roy Ayers, Marcos Valle and Bobby Womack – to Camden Town.
International artists making their UK debuts this season starts with Armani Caesar, one of the most talented rappers in America performing her only UK show on October 3.
Durand Bernarr will also take the Canden stage for two debut UK dates in November, who has earned his stripes working alongside Grammy Award-winning artists Erykah Badu, Anderson.Paak, and Kaytranada.
Inaugural Jazz Cafe performances from homegrown talent sees Croydon’s Jords, whose hybrid of smooth hip-hop, R’n’B, and poetry has made him one of the most refreshing UK talents of late.
There will also be the Jazz Cafe’s usual club nights, soul nights and an array of DJs including New York City house maestro Joe Clauselle.
With a capacity of 440 the Jazz Cafe is an intimate gig space and the two-level layout offers you a choice between a packed out downstairs standing area, or a more luxurious upstairs table where food and drinks can be ordered and a guaranteed good view.
This new season continues to secure the venue’s position as a crucial piece of London’s live music landscape.
