John Godber’s award winning comedy, Up ’n’ Under

FINGERSMITHS IN CO-PRODUCTION WITH THE NEW WOLSEY THEATRE PRESENT

John Godber’s Up ’n’ Under

The award winning comedy is given Fingersmiths’ spin with a cast of Deaf and hearing actors using British Sign Language and spoken English to delight all audiences.

The Wheatsheaf Arms amateur rugby league team have never won a game. They don’t have enough players, they don’t have a kit and they spend more time in the pub than on the pitch.

Can Arthur, our hero, coach them to beat the mighty Cobblers Arms in the cup final?

With Just five weeks to go he must convince them they can win, but first he has to work out how to communicate with them…

‘This is a production that sharpens your hearing by making you see language.’ The Guardian (on Frozen)

Every performance includes live Audio Description, British Sign Language and spoken English. Some performances will feature creative captioning – ask Box Offices for details.
